Students at Sand Hill School have been diagnosed with a learning difference such as dyslexia. We know that ADHD and school-based anxiety often accompany learning differences and our teaching/clinical staff is expert at treating these combined issues.
Matching students to a classroom is an art and we pride ourselves on this strength at Sand Hill. Before making a placement in a class, we take the time to get to know your child and your family. We evaluate your child for best fit based on their strengths and challenges, as well as on the mix of students in each classroom, in order to provide an optimum learning experience for your child.
Sand Hill School students possess average to above average intelligence.
While Sand Hill School students need the personalized attention that small groups offer, they must be able to function in the classroom without a one-on-one aide.
Potential for Transition
Sand Hill School students have the capacity to successfully transition to a classroom. Sand Hill School provides preparation and support for transition.
