This workshop, designed for all levels of professionals, is to provide the most current skills to enhance ethical multicultural supervision practice including cultural humility, competencies, supervision guidelines and best practices, the supervisory relationship, strain, ruptures, repair, reflective practice, diversity and multiculturalism in all aspects, assessment, feedback, and evaluation strategies, legal and ethical frames, self-care and management of supervisers not meeting performance competency standards. Through a competency-based frame, interactive meta-theoretical strategies for practice are developed through practice exercises, skill-building, video review and reflection.
This course is open to professionals and will be taught by Carol Falender, PhD.
