This interactive workshop will introduce multiple options for cultivating executive function skills within the framework of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) with a specific focus on the adolescent brain. Using subject-specific case studies, participants will develop plans that incorporate Executive Function strategies to increase student engagement, learning strategies and self-regulation.

Participants will also learn a strategy, PART - Presence, Attunement, Resonance, Trust - that helps build authentic connections with students. The workshop will provide resources that can be used to further their skills in implementing student-focused strategies in the classroom.
